This week's theme for Illustration Friday is Hierarachy -- an easy one to apply to my bee theme. The Queen Bee on top, the drones in the middle, and the worker bees who keep the hive running smoothly. Since drones are mostly used for sex, I wasn't sure what little graphic to add so I settled for a crown for the queen, and waxy bee hive cells for the worker bees. I'd like to think I'm the queen bee of something but most of the time I feel like a worker bee.
Done in my Moleskine Sketchbook using the sepia and sanguine PITT pens.
